A Century of Surface Design
The brief was to design a book that featured original patterns from textiles, wallpaper, furniture and ceramics and other decorative designs. I arranged the images by colour. Contemporary images are displayed next to historical images. Wallpaper sample books inspired the design. Much of the surface area of the page is given to the image.
